Randall is an internationally awarded photographer based in Houston, TX, renowned for his breathtaking environmental portraits of wildlife. His photography journey began as a combat photographer in the U.S. Marine Corps, where he developed a keen eye for detail and storytelling through the lens. He further refined his skills with formal education at the prestigious Brooks Institute of Photography in Santa Barbara, CA.

 

After a decade as a commercial photographer, feeling a strong sense of duty, Randall transitioned to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, where he worked as a forensic and crime scene photographer for 25 years. During this time, he also became an adjunct faculty instructor, teaching law enforcement photographers and investigators worldwide. His influence on photographic training at the FBI helped shape the curriculum for forensic photography, leaving a lasting impact on the field.

 

Today, Randall specializes in fine art wildlife photography, capturing the raw beauty of wildlife in their natural habitats. His work is available as museum-quality prints, allowing collectors to bring the wild into their homes. Each print is crafted with the highest standards, from the archival papers to premium framing, ensuring a timeless and authentic piece of art.

 

As a workshop instructor, Randall leads on-location photography workshops, drawing from his extensive experience as an educator in photography. His workshops, held across the U.S. and internationally, immerse participants in the art of capturing nature’s beauty, providing them with hands-on experience while refining their skills. Through his unique blend of technical expertise and artistic insight, Randall helps photographers at all levels enhance their craft and connect with the natural world.
