What can I say about Randall Ball Photography, Masai Mara Safari…Amazing! The entire trip was well planned and quite an adventure. Randall has thought of everything to make this experience smooth and seamless, from arrival in Kenya to departure. On Safari, Randy was extremely knowledgeable in his guidance on how to capture beautiful photos and his recommendations on gear prep.. The animals we captured in photos and the thrill of being so close I will never forget. Hands down an experience of a lifetime, no doubt I will be making this trip again.

Firstly I'd like to say that Randall is the absolute ideal leader / instructor; he is knowledgeable about his craft, and intuitive about art and people, he has a great way of leading a group, without being overbearing, he always put the other photographers first never worrying about his own shots, he was very organized so I never felt the stress of travel, it was like someone else was doing all of the hard work!

The accommodations and meals were fantastic. And I feel that Randall put a great deal of effort into choosing locations that would create memorable experiences, not just great photos.

Additionally, and probably most important for me, is that because I am not a photographer I notice that I never felt excluded. I can imagine that there are many photographers with spouses or partners who would love to go along with them but are intimidated by joining a photography group. I have told everyone I know that if they have a opportunity to travel on one of these kind of trips, you don't have to be a photographer to go along.

It was interesting to note as well that Randall volunteered his " off duty" time to help all the photographers look through their images and do some training with editing.

My husband is so thrilled with the images that he got, that we almost can't imagine ever traveling without Randall again!!

Randy was a wonderful instructor and very easy to learn from. I was definitely pushed out of my comfort zone physically and well as creatively. The things I have been learning about photography finally started to "gel' with Randy.

OK I have been on a lot of photo trips but I have to say with Randall Ball this was the best trip ever...great opportunities for photos, the food was excellent, service great, facility terrific and I just can't say enough...if you have ever wanted to go to Africa and see the big five with great group then this for you...don't wait sign up!
